Serving Seahouses for Over 20 Years

Hook Fish and Chips is the latest chapter in our family's coastal restaurant journey. Our venture into local food establishments began when we acquired the historic Coxon's Ice Cream (established 1936) in 2002. The following year we expanded by purchasing Neptune, our first seafood restaurant which has been a firm favourite with locals and visitors ever since.

Coxon's Ice Cream & Coffee


Established in 1927 and part of our family since 2003, this charming shop serves award-winning ice cream, make your own sundaes, and freak shakes. Located just steps away from Hook Fish and Chips, it's perfect for dessert after your meal or a relaxing coffee break during your coastal adventures.


Keep your eye out for the Coxon’s Ice Cream Vans, serving our award winning ice cream up and down the Northumberland Coast.
